ahh what a meaningful song. Everyone should go and watch the music video from youtube, one of the few songs that I actually like by MJ. That video was one of the top 40 most expensive videos created. The images shown in video really drives the message home hard and clear, save the earth. It'll never be whole with us in it.

Had training yesterday. Although nothing seemed to go well throughout the entire training with toot and I capping almost 5 times in total, training seemed to be more of a mental challenge for me yesterday. I've gone through this "capping spell" countless times, each time you cap you just keep blaming yourself and apologizing to your partner for being the cause of the cap. And there you just drift with your boat, your paddle and your partner waiting for a stable enough boat to rescue you, every time a boat rows past you without even pausing to help, your morale just sinks even lower and you just feel totally helpless. But after rowing for over 4 months now, I realize that there's no point feeling frustrated at yourself or at your partner. This is a 2 man boat, "all for one, one for all" Pick yourself up (okay, I meant get into the boat) refocus on your target, compose yourself and just keep rowing forward. Toot's right, there's no need for us to beat ourselves up because of one off form training, things can only get better.....

The last 2 250m sprints with the seniors were by far the best we've ever rowed together as k2 partners. The starting burst was perfect, we actually managed to "break" the water pretty fast and managed to keep our boat stable, well that was before the imba backwash from the other boats (i.e. javine+muddy on their k2 and marcus+shenghao on their T2) got to us. I feel accomplished. high five toot! Those two sprints really made up for all we went through that entire 2 hours of training.

After the seniors got up, I went out in a k2 with siti! First time rowing together! :D zomg, you're really stable siti. Great job! You can be super backman #2 (after toot that is, haha) But yes, it was quite an adventure for your first experience in a k2 huh siti (: The very first thing we did when we rowed out into the pond was..... rescue a guys' k2 pair, then after rowing round and round, we rescued a C2 (nathan and victor) haha! I think the j1 team is improving really fast! (: mario brothers on their t2 and the C rowers. Great job guys! I'm seeing more of them in the lanes now (: haha!

ahhh alright, I shall go and pack for my 2 day 1 night class camp at ubin now. Will be missing training tmrw :( SIGH. okay friends.. till I get back to civilization on tuesday. SEEYOU and TAKECARE
